2016 Plot
It is the Spanish version of this format that brings the culture, food, flavors and seasonings of Mexico. But only one of these chefs will be crowned the winner of MASTERCHEF MEXICO and will be awarded a cash prize.

2016 Episodes
1. Macro Casting
A renewed season begins with 300 participants cooking in the bicentennial park in the city of Guanajuato, but only 50 will get the spoon to compete for their place in the MasterChef 2016 kitchen and thus have the 18 definitive cooks of the competition.
2. Episode 2
The first mystery box this time contains a mirror. They should cook a dish according to what reflects their personality.
3. Episode 3
The adventure begins with a field challenge in the magical town of San Miguel de Allende where they will have to cook for 150 people and the main ingredient will have to be quelite.
4. Episode 4
A mysterious box receives the cooks, what is inside bread and piloncillo to make capirotada.
5. Episode 5
A field challenge in an art gallery, they will have to make Mexican and international canapes but first they have to make a ceviche to define the chef who will choose the color and the of their team first.
6. Episode 6
A salty and sweet Mystery box. The cooks must demonstrate their skills once again The salty box contains duck, garlic, tomato, onion, beans, dried chilies, sweet potato, green beans, sour cream, red wine, a cheese, mushrooms and huazontle. The sweet box peanut butter, strawberries, clove anise and dried fruits.
7. Episode 7
The competition rises and in this team field challenge at a convention center for oriental investors the cooks will have to make Chinese food.
8. Episode 8
We start with a mystery box challenge that contains chamberete and beef tail.
9. Episode 9
Team field challenge in a coffee plantation in Veracruz where they will have to prepare 3 courses, a main course and dessert.
10. Episode 10
A special episode comes to MasterChef a mystery box of the Day of the Dead with the photo of their deceased loved ones is in the stations. The challenge? They will have to make a dish of their choice that reminds them of that person.
11. Episode 11
Unexpected field challenge, you will have to camp and cook trout on firewood.
12. Episode 12
The long-awaited mystery boxes are discovered by the chefs, this time they contain lamb, crab, chorizo, red berries, red wine and a variety of other products.
13. Episode 13
We begin this chapter with a field challenge this time in the forum where the guests will be each other's mothers. They have to cook with 1 protein, two side dishes, and 1 dessert.
14. Episode 14
Today's gala begins with a mystery box containing shrimp, chipotle, nopales and tomato.
15. Episode 15
The surprise of this episode begins in Pachuca, Hidalgo where they will have to convince the three best chefs in Mexico with their food with a tempura starter, a main dish garnished with limited ingredients.
16. Episode 16
The final stretch of the competition is imminent.
17. Episode 17
Last episode of the season and to obtain the title of MasterChef they must prepare a cold starter, a hot starter, main course and dessert. Who will do it? We are nothing to know.
