Richard Band Biography

Richard Howard Band is an American composer of film and television music. He has scored more than 100 films, including From Beyond (1986) which won the award for Best Original Soundtrack at the Sitges - Catalan International Film Festival. Other works includes The Day Time Ended (1979), Lunch Wagon (1981), Ghoulies (1984), Re-Animator (1985), Troll (1986), Puppet Master (1989), Castle Feak (1995) Hideous! (1997), Nightmare Cinema (2019) and Don't Let Her In (2021) His family is rooted in the film business, with related directors, producers, composers and actors.

His father is Albert Band, his brother is Charles Band, his nephews are Taryn Band, Harlan Band and Zalman Band.
